During the height of Fall, we will draw outdoor views of Shantigar as well as objects and artworks inside the house. Through group demonstration and one-on-one teaching, you will learn how to capture proportions and movement and build volume, light, and textures. Using simple graphite and paper, our attention will be on what to achieve with this essential medium.
This unique drawing class is a celebration of Shantigar's beauty at scales large and small. The weekend offers an invitation to look deeply at our surroundings, slow down time, and develop strong sketching skills. All levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced artists.
