Weekly yoga at shantigar

with Kate Peppard of Highland Yoga
Thursdays from 9:00 - 10:15 AM

Kate provides an environment that encourages unfettered flow from body to mind and mind to body.

This multi-level yoga class brings awareness to all parts of the body, to open the mind and heart through breath-centered movement. Seated posture work, moderately paced standing "flows" and the occasional restorative pose weave together for a balanced practice.

After moving from Boston to the foothills of the Berkshires, Kate Peppard started her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Tracy Donahue, who practices and teaches a graceful and intensive vinyasa flow, strongly influenced by both the Jivamukti and Kripalu yoga styles.

Kate's classes are gently rigorous and are focused on a balanced series of movements closely aligned with the breath.
